Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Alineteam, Inc. (the "Company") and users (account holders) in relation to the embeddable widget service "Aline Widget" (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Service" means the embeddable tool that lets a user add survey, contact, and announcement widgets to their website via a script tag and manage collected responses in a dashboard.
• "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account, and uses the Service.
• "Project" means a site unit registered by the user, identified by a unique project key.
• "Visitor" means an end user who interacts with the widget on the user's website.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment)

These Terms take effect upon posting within the Service. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law, with prior notice stating the effective date and reason.

Article 4 (Account)

Users create an account with an email and password. Users are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping their password secure, and notifying the Company immediately of any unauthorized use.

Article 5 (Use of the Service)

• Users must install widgets only on websites they own or are authorized to manage, using their issued project key.
• If a user collects personal data from visitors via the widget, the user is responsible for fulfilling notice/consent and other obligations under the laws applicable to their website.
• Users configure each site's notification channel (Google Chat webhook or email) themselves.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

• Posting content (e.g., announcements) that infringes others' rights or violates law.
• Causing abnormal load on the Service through automated means.
• Using another's project key without authorization or circumventing access controls.

Article 7 (Data Ownership and Responsibility)

Response and inquiry data collected via the widget belongs to the user. The Company stores and processes such data as a processor for the purpose of providing the Service; the user is responsible for the content and lawful collection of the data.

Article 8 (Service Interruption)

The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, failures, or force majeure, and will give prior notice where possible.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not responsible for how users install or operate widgets, the announcement content users create, or disputes between users and visitors. The Service is provided "as is."

Article 10 (Termination)

Users may delete their account at any time from the dashboard. Upon deletion, the projects owned by that account and the collected data are deleted.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the agreed jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal place of business.
